Through disclosing with CDP in 2024, HCP Packaging received grade B for ‘Climate Change’ and B for ‘Water Security’. HCP’s participation in CDP demonstrates our commitment to environmental transparency and responsible manufacturing. By disclosing through CDP, we track our impact, benchmark progress, and support our beauty brand partners in achieving their sustainability goals.

Scoring in the top 5% of companies assessed by Ecovadis, in 2024 HCP were awarded the Gold CSR rating. Ecovadis is a trusted partner for procurement teams whose mission is to provide the world’s most reliable sustainability ratings, enabling all businesses to reduce risk, drive performance and improve environmental and social outcomes.

Sedex is one of the world’s leading ethical trade service providers, working to improve working conditions in global supply chains. HCP’s China plants are all registered on the Sedex platform.

HCP Packaging proudly holds the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification, ISCC PLUS at multiple manufacturing locations. Being ISCC PLUS certified enables HCP to produce packaging with high levels of certified recycled content, using the Eastman Renew portfolio of chemically recycled materials, containing a minimum content of recycled material.

This allows HCP to offer sustainability and the same level of performance and aesthetics as per injection molded virgin materials in PET; PETG and PCTA, ensuring crystal clear parts for colour cosmetics and skincare stock and custom packaging.

HCP's China plants hold the SA8000® Standard; the leading social certification standard for factories and organisations across the globe. This 'Social Accountability' certification encourages organisations to develop, maintain and apply socially acceptable practices in the workplace.

- Comply with SA8000 standard and comply with national regulations
- Child labor shall not be used and forced labor shall not be allowed
- Freedom of association is respected and disciplinary measures are prohibited
- Elimination of discrimination and ensure fair pay
- Ensure health and safety, and continuously improve performance
