With a focus on developing primary beauty packaging that optimises the opportunity to reduce, reuse and recycle, the HCP-Eco team are continuously exploring cutting-edge options such as bio-materials, as well as identifying how the rapidly evolving beauty landscape should inform design and development programs.
HCP's sustainable packaging designs include features such as plastic hinges for compacts or refill concepts, whilst retaining a premium appearance. Several of HCP’s clients have successfully launched refill compacts into the market; utilising various constructions including magnetic, clip-in or slide-in inserts.
HCP offer palettes, lip gloss and twist-up sticks with paper caps and outer-parts, with FSC
(Forest Stewardship Council) certification, using materials from well-managed forests.
HCP-Eco presents a new innovation: EcoWood – HCP’s exclusive, fully certified fossil-free, bio-based sustainable alternative to traditional materials.
It is manufactured from natural, PEFC certified and has a zero carbon footprint, exemplary chemical resistance and compatibility with today’s colour and skincare formulations.
The result of more than 15 years of research and 2 years of factory testing, EcoWood is here – fully industrialised and ready to change the face of beauty.
Totally sustainable and sensitive to the environment – finally, we can offer glamour without the guilt.
