The Chinese beauty brand Maogeping is the creation of the ‘master of make-up’ artist Mao Geping. Curated for women to provide a variety of products and colour solutions, Mao Geping draws inspiration from the traditional Chinese ink paintings, Western sketches and other fields of art. Drawing upon his decades of make-up experience, he has created a unique ‘light and shadow’ make-up technique to reshape the contours of the face and the texture of the skin.
The ‘Point Cui’ custom compacts supplied by HCP are embellished with intricate gold foil detailing; inspired by ancient Chinese metalwork techniques originating from the Han and Tang Dynasties.
Available in blue and white colourways for the ‘Light Nourishing No Trace Powder’ and ‘Light & Shadow Plastic High Gloss Powder Paste. The cover is decorated with an ornate heat transfer artwork and gold foil design; paying tribute to Chinese heritage and art.
